Our experience was marred by a lack of proper maintenance. the carpet was filthy and gave off an overall neglected vibe. The bathroom had an open plan that might be unconventional, but it felt uncomfortable and offered no privacy. the duvet was thicker than necessary for summer, making for an uneasy night's sleep.

where do I begin? the breakfast was appalling, a mishmash of cheap cereals and murky citrus water. i also found a stain on my sheets. of course, heaving my bags up the stairs was simply delightful, but i expected someone to help me, not just stare. i almost thought about a good review, but just couldn’t.

The bedrooms were extremely cold, lacking proper heating. The bathroom taps were dated and in need of repair. I experienced a lack of menu variety which made dining options frustrating.

My stay at Sonnekus was delightful! The beautiful decor, including Art Deco elements and modern touches, truly made the ambiance special. The location offered stunning views of the ocean, and the attentive staff made me feel completely at home.

Cozy stay with a great view!

Spent 2 nights in a room with an amazing sea view! The staff were super friendly, even brought my daughter a birthday cake. The breakfast was top-notch too, and those special diet menu options were a nice touch. Just wish we had more time to explore the other dining options. Oh, and the bathroom could use a little TLC.
